We want you to love our tags, so if you're not happy for any reason we'll make it right, or refund your purchase! For a refund eligibility, tags will be required to be returned within 30 days of purchase. The customer will be required to cover the cost of shipping of their returned item.  


Tag Warranty 

We offer a 1-time, 90-day tag replacement with proof of purchase for new tags that have been accidentally chewed up.  Pictures of the damage will be required. The customer will be required to cover new shipping costs. Please email us your order number or proof of purchase with pictures to to claim your replacement tag. 

Warranty Policy

1. This replacement warranty is meant to cover newly damaged tags due to pets chewing on them and not due to normal wear and tear. To receive a replacement, proof of the damage is required. 

2. Eligible tags will be replaced one-time only up to 90 days from their original purchase date. If more than 90 days have passed you will be provided with a discount code instead. 

3. Bad Tags is not responsible for lost tags. If your pet looses their tag, the customer will be required to purchase a replacement tag.

Please keep this common sense in mind:

Tags that are worn every day are comparable to us humans wearing something every day, such as a favorite shirt or pair or socks.  After a certain period of time the threads become loose and colors may fade. It is expected to see normal wear and tear on our tags for the same reason it would happen on a pair of socks or any other article of clothing worn in the same matter. There is no indestructible tag on the market.


 Lead Time

Bad Tags is a very small business located near Denver, Colorado. It's our goal to ship tags as quickly as possible, but allow up to 3-5 business days for us to make your tags. Lead time excludes weekends and holiday - hey we need a break too! 



If you need your tags ASAP please see our "rush my order" upgrade. By purchasing this upgrade it guarantees we will ship your tags within 24 hours with Priority Mail for US customers. 


Domestic Shipping 

Packages in the United States are shipped with the USPS and generally arrive within 2-5 business days. Tracking is always provided with your order. 


Worldwide Shipping

International shipping generally takes 2-6 weeks for delivery. Tracking is not always available outside the United States. 

 International Duty Charges and Import Taxes 

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Required by law, these charges are the buyer's responsibility.  To remain ethical in our business practices, we cannot mark international shipments as "gifts". 


Lost Packages

If you feel your package is lost in the mail, please email us your order number to discuss options and receive instructions. We will ship replacement tags after as sufficient amount of time has passed. See our lost package policy below.

 Lost Package Policy 

1. Replacement tags will be shipped if at least 6 weeks of transit time has passed. Customers will be required to pay new postage fees. 

2. For returned packages due to an incorrect address or a non-claim/non-pickup the customer will be responsible for new shipping fees.
3. For packages scanned as "delivered" but customer never received, customer is responsible for new shipping fees for their replacement tags.
